Alfalfa Bean Sprout

At one glance, you definitely can see this is a healthy dish. Excellent! But, there's another healthy item is, at the very very top part of the bean curd, that's...."Alfalfa Bean Sprout". I use it as Garnishes on "Steam Minced Pork Bean Curd"

As garnishes on second dish, Mushroom Salad. Oops, maybe, you might think that, am I overly done on the garnishes? Hee...Hee...I just love vegetables, so I dont bother that much, just give me a mountain of it, I will still finish it...ha...ha...

I had discovered a new japanese sauce, so I gave it a try on this mushroom salad.
1) First, I just lightly fried the mushroom, without adding any seasoning. Dont bother whether its salty or not, cos, you will be adding the dressing later.

2) Tear the lettuces into bite size, add in 2 kinds of dressing:-
a) Japanese sauce (its verrry healthy as you can see it stated "14cal" on the bottle), dont add too much, as its got a very strong "leafy" fragrance.
b) Another Japanese sauce, this got a citrus fragrance n slightly salty. So, add moderately to your liking.

So, this is the main "chacter" ---> Alfalfa Bean Sprout. (the western kind of "tau kay") Anyone care for "tau kay"?

Uniquely Flower....Uniquely Singapore (Part 3)

This one.....is another unique gorgeous flower. See the colour combinations, its so sweet. And by chance, I caught a lady beetle by camera (a balloon made beside it). Ah...its a pity, I didnt see it with my naked eyes.

Another pretty kind....anyone can tell me which one is the flower? The yellow or the pink?

This one looks like the christmas flower....I doubt so. The leaves, or should I called petals, its in bright red colour and its "hairy" too. (tested by my hands)

Uniquely Flower.....Uniquely Singapore (Part 2)

This one is sooo gorgeous....but clueless on name.

This white one, looks like a kind of Jasmine....but do not have sweet fragrance. Or is it belong to Lily's family? I totally got no clue.

Believe you have seen this, its common in all premises and school area. I remember when I'm still a primary student, I saw people plucked them & squeezed out the juice out from the flower & sipped it! Grrr....until today, I'm puzzle whether is it REALLY OK to drink it? Call me a coward....

Uniquely Flowers....Uniquely Singapore (Part 1)

Maybe people might have noticed or maybe not. Recently, I discovered there are afew kinds of beautiful flowers near my neighbourhood, which I never been noticed them at all, for the solid 8 years! That proves either I'm blind or I have been struggling hard in my workplace, no time to further explore new things surrounding me. It is so embarrassing....
Above photos are 2 different kinds...its a pity I do not know their names. Anyone knows?
